I like
What I see today,
So I stare,
Everywhere,

The reflections around me.

I get lost in doors
And am amazed by windows, but
It is my merciful mirror
That always has
The most to give.

He is there
To approve,

And always he is there
To tell you
What is true.

Today I hate what I see.
I glare,
Everywhere,
And leer at the face
Opposing me.

Mister Mirror,
Always sincere,
Confirms what I feel
And mercilessly
Tells me how it is.

Every day I regard
That ever-changing reflection
And wonder
And worry
And wish
About what
I will see, but
I guess it all depends on
What the mirror decides to show me.
